DVBtoCSV: Convert FILENAME.DVB to FILENAME.CSV
DVBtoCSV lets you edit the DVB2000 channel list in MS Excel, which is easier for some kinds of changes, but I guess you'll still need DVBEDIT or SETEDIT for making big edits, and definitely for firmware upgrading.
Usage: "DVBtoCSV InFile.DVB OutFile.CSV".
- Download DVBtoCSV.zip (22k) and extract DVBtoCSV.EXE
- Download msvcrt.zip (130k) if you need MSVCRT.DLL
Some hints about the .CSV file:
- Channel name. Excel cannot edit names that look like formulas unless you right-click on this column, then "Format Cells", "Text".
- PCR-PID. This has special meaning when Frequency=0 (i.e. a satellite marker). Then, PCR-PID is the orbital position of the satellite, e.g. 19.2E or 1.0W.
- VIDEO-PID. This is also special for satellite markers, when it is the LT8700 satellite number. This is used only if you have an LT8700 connected to the Nokia for dish steering. (To find out what the satellite number should be, press the SAT button on the LT remote control.)
- Type. This is normally "TV" or "Radio", but for satellite markers (Freq=0) you can set it to something else (not starting with "T" or "R"!) and the satellite marker will then appear in both the TV and Radio channel lists.
CSVtoDVB: Convert FILENAME.CSV to FILENAME.DVB
CSVtoDVB reverses the previous utility so you can load your edited channel list into DVB2000, for example using DvbWrite.
Usage: "CSVtoDVB InFile.CSV OutFile.DVB".
- Download CSVtoDVB.zip (22k) and extract CSVtoDVB.EXE
- Download msvcrt.zip (130k) if you need MSVCRT.DLL
